Back in the Spotlight: A Celebration of Growth & the Begin of a New Chapter
Reflecting on a busy June, musing on public speaking, and sharing fresh insights
Hi everyone,
Life and work sometimes come to an exciting crossroads, and the past seven weeks have been nothing short of a whirlwind for me. But here we are, once again, connected. And, I have a lot to share!
The past June was ablaze with exhilarating engagements and intriguing discourses that allowed me to grow professionally and personally. Here are some key highlights:
On June 7: I had an online live talk with lemon.io
On June 11: a podcast hosted by Mic It Up: Ask an Angular Expert.
On June 21: a talk at enterJS conference in Darmstadt, Germany.
On June 25: a live podcast hosted by the inspired.tn team.
On June 28: a talk at Developer Week (DWX) conference in Nürnberg, Germany.
On June 29: a Cross Community Mixer event at the Google office in Hamburg.
Juggling preparations for these events alongside my full-time job led to a brief step back from the newsletter. However, I believe these experiences have enriched me with insights I can now share with you!
My live interactions with diverse audiences have sparked many reflective queries in me:
What quintessential skills does a public speaker need?
How can one capture the audience's attention, and how long might it take?
How much does the size and engagement of the audience impact your talk and performance as a speaker?
How should you prepare a talk considering all possible scenarios, including the unwanted ones?
What's the best way to overcome unexpected technical hitches?
What if you've saved time for questions but didn't get enough to fill that slot?
And many more...
Over the next weeks, I look forward to delving into these questions and sharing my learnings and insights with you.
In the midst of the past bustling period, I had been working as well on an article that had been gathering dust for ages. It has finally emerged from the cocoon of my thoughts and reflections. Yesterday, it finally spread its wings and soared into the world:
“How Zat Rana Got 100K+ Followers by Posting Just 3.3 Times a Month”
It’s a piece that explores the art of developing a thoughtful writing style with a lyrical quality. I hope it'll resonate with you as much as it did with me during its preparation.
I have also a fresh assortment of other articles and videos on my YouTube channel to share with you. They're a mixed bag of treats – some dive deep into tech, others focus on the fine art of content creation and personal development. But regardless of the topic, each one has been crafted to stimulate your thoughts and guide you toward a well of deeper understanding and knowledge:
